Helps you remember words more easily and more effectively
Akama is an app and a single platform for teachers and students, with FSRS spaced repetition. Students remember words easily, teachers follow their progress.

FAQ
Questions that come up first
Can I study for free?
Yes. On the free plan, studying by a teacher’s programs has no limits at all. Programs and cards of your own are capped — that cap is what Premium lifts.
Do I need a teacher?
No. You can run a program yourself: create it, add words, and review on the schedule Akama builds. A teacher adds their own programs on top of that, and shared progress.
What is a program?
A study plan: a set of words and the order in which they appear. It can be your own or come from a teacher, and new words are released gradually rather than all at once.
Does it work without the internet?
The app keeps the current cards on the device, so a session does not stop when the connection does. The answers reach the server once the network is back.
Is there an import?
Yes. Words can be added as a list — one per line, or as “word — translation” pairs — instead of being typed in one by one.
One account for the app and the web
Students learn in the app, teachers run classes in the browser. The account is the same one.
The apps are still on their way to the stores.
